Just a reminder of some fun events we have scheduled for this summer

On alternating Wednesday evenings we will be hosting "Open Sailing" and "Sunfish Racing".

Open Sailing allows anyone who knows how to sail (or wants to learn), to take a sail in one of the CA's Sunfish sailboats on the little lake. This is open to all CA members and there is NO CHARGE!!! Sailing Club members are encouraged to stop by and take a sail. If you know of anyone who might be interested in this activity, please pass the word. Open Sailing nights run from 5:30 to 7:30 on July 25 and August 8. Stop by the CA Clubhouse beach to join in the fun. Of course, even if you don't want to sail, you can always stop by to help.

Sunfish Racing is the next step for many of our young sailors, but is not limited to kids. Anyone wishing to test their sailing skills around the buoys on the little lake is welcome to participate. We have access to the CA's Sunfish sailboats, so you don't need a boat of your own to race. Of course, if you have a boat you'd like to race, you are welcome to bring it. Racing runs from 5:30 to 7:30 on July 18 (tomorrow), August 1 and 15. Racers and spectators should gather on the CA Clubhouse beach. Again, we are always looking for help, so feel free to lend a hand.

The CA is very interested in getting more use our of their sailboats, so we should make every effort to give them what they want! If you haven't stopped by the Clubhouse lately, swing by and take a look at all of the sailboats anchored in the cove next to the swimming pool! Pearson
